Mil and Rewards Terms

Last updated:

If the Turkish and English versions differ, the Turkish version prevails.

The Mil program is run by Crossova's founder Doğukan Bener, an individual ("Crossova", "we"). When a company is set up for Crossova, the program will move to it; we will announce this in advance. These terms form part of the Terms of Use and prevail on Mil matters.

1. What Mil is and is not

1.1. Mil is a thank-you and loyalty point for going to events and taking part in the community.

1.2. Mil is not money. It is not e-money, a payment instrument, a gift card, a security or an investment, and it has no value in Turkish lira or any other currency.

1.3. Mil:

  • cannot be bought (with money, a card or an in-app purchase),
  • cannot be sold or traded for anything,
  • cannot be sent or transferred to another account, including by inheritance,
  • cannot be cashed out or converted to a bank balance or a gift card,
  • cannot be staked on any bet or chance.

1.4. Mil is tied to your account and ends when the account ends (section 8).

1.5. The "1,000 Mil = X TL" rate shown in a donation campaign does not value Mil. It only states how much will be donated for that campaign (section 6).

2. Earning

2.1. You earn Mil through the actions shown in the app: event check-ins, completing your profile, verifying your phone, posting, reactions and comments you receive, the Question of the Day, streaks, invites, duels and skill contests. The current list and amounts are under Wallet → How to earn.

2.2. Some earnings have daily or monthly limits. Some (Ambassador posts, invite tiers, contest prizes) reach your account after a team review and show as "Pending" until then.

2.3. Invites: when someone signs up with your link or code, you both receive the advertised Mil as soon as they sign up (currently 500 + 500 Mil). To prevent abuse: accounts opened on the same device get no reward, the number of rewarded invites per person per month is limited, and an invite code can only be used on newly opened accounts. Tier bonuses count only completed profiles. There is one level only: you earn nothing from your invitees' invites.

2.4. Duels and Tribün: in a Rock-Paper-Scissors duel, the winner and players who draw receive Mil; daily duel Mil is capped. No Mil is staked on a duel and the loser loses no Mil. Match predictions in Tribün are unrewarded; you cannot earn Mil by predicting.

2.5. Crossova Ambassadors: you can earn Mil by promoting Crossova on social media. To do so you must:

  • (a) submit the content in the app for approval before posting,
  • (b) post the approved content tagging @crossova,
  • (c) keep the post up for at least 30 days.

Untrue or misleading posts earn nothing, and Mil already paid for them is taken back. You are responsible for complying with applicable law in your posts.

2.6. Boost periods such as Double Mil weeks apply only while announced.

3. Spending (Mil Market)

3.1. You can spend Mil in the Mil Market on:

  • (a) in-app items: themes, stickers, app icons, time-limited Crossova Plus;
  • (b) partner venue and organiser rewards (e.g. a coffee, a ticket discount), when offered;
  • (c) taking part in donation campaigns (section 6).

Each item's Mil price, stock, per-person limit and (if any) expiry date are shown on its page.

3.2. Limited stock goes to whoever comes first. There is no draw or lot. Items offered as a "surprise" show their contents before you buy; no random rewards are given.

3.3. Partner rewards arrive in the app as a single-use, time-limited QR code. The partner venue/organiser provides the reward; Crossova makes it available. Partner rewards require a verified phone and there is a monthly limit. Expired QR codes cannot be used.

3.4. Refunds: no Mil refund if you change your mind. If the reward cannot be delivered for a reason on our or the partner's side (the venue closed, the reward ran out, the QR did not work), your Mil is refunded to your account. Just write to us in the support chat or at [email protected] within 14 days of the QR's expiry date.

3.5. Plus bought with Mil ends automatically when its period is over. It never renews and never charges you.

4. Expiry

4.1. Mil currently has no expiry date; your balance stays as long as your account is open.

4.2. If we ever introduce expiry for inactivity, we will announce it in the app at least 60 days in advance; we will also remind you before any expiry and never expire a balance without reminding you first.

5. Grand Prize

5.1. The Grand Prize is currently not active; it is not offered in the Mil Market and cannot be chosen as a goal.

5.2. If we reopen the Grand Prize, we will publish its official rules in this section before it opens, including what the prize is, its Mil price, season dates, winning and verification rules, delivery and tax terms. The rules will follow these principles: no draw, lot or random selection; free to enter with no purchase necessary; Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, the promotion.

6. Donation campaigns

6.1. No money is collected from users. You take part with Mil only. When a campaign reaches its goal, Crossova's founder Doğukan Bener makes the donation personally on Crossova's behalf; once a company is set up for Crossova, the company will make donations. The receipt is issued in the donor's name, so taking part gives you no personal donation or tax deduction.

6.2. Each campaign page shows the charity, the goal (in Mil and TL), the campaign-specific rate, the end date and any sponsor. The rate cannot change once the campaign opens.

6.3. The campaign closes when the goal is reached and no more Mil is accepted. The donation is paid within 30 days through the charity's official channel and the receipt is published under "Donation proofs" with personal data redacted. The "total donated" counter includes only payments backed by a receipt.

6.4. What happens if the goal is not reached by the end date (a partial donation in proportion to the Mil collected, or a Mil refund) is stated on the campaign page from the start.

6.5. Sponsored campaigns: the sponsor pays its contribution directly to the charity and the page is labelled "Sponsored".

6.6. A charity's name is used with its written consent. Without consent, the page states that the charity is not the organiser of the campaign. Logos are used only with permission.

6.7. Support notes are public on the campaign page. Notes that break the Community Rules are removed.

7. Abuse

7.1. Fake or multiple accounts, invite accounts opened on the same device, bots or automation, like-and-comment rings and earning Mil by any other unfair means are prohibited.

7.2. In such cases Crossova may take back unfairly earned Mil, reject reward claims, cancel unused rewards, restrict earning and suspend the account under the Terms of Use. A human makes the decision; the decision and reasons are logged and sent to you. You can appeal in the app or through the support chat.

7.3. Mil given by mistake (a system error) is corrected. Mil missed by mistake is topped up too.

8. Account closure

8.1. If you delete your account yourself, your Mil balance, unused rewards and any remaining Plus period end; Mil is not money, so nothing is paid out. You can spend your balance before deleting.

8.2. If your account is temporarily suspended, your balance is not deleted: you cannot earn or spend Mil during the suspension and carry on where you left off when it ends.

8.3. If your account is permanently closed for breaching the Terms of Use:

  • (a) only Mil found to have been earned in breach of section 7 (cheating, fake/multiple accounts, automation, etc.) is cancelled; you are told which Mil and why, and you can appeal within 14 days;
  • (b) the remaining balance and unused rewards end once the closure becomes final (the appeal period expires or the appeal is rejected); if your appeal succeeds, your account and balance are restored in full;
  • (c) no balance is deleted before the closure is final.

8.4. Your Mil history is deleted with your account, except where the law requires us to keep records (Privacy Policy).

9. Changes and ending the program

9.1. We may change earning amounts, Market items and Mil prices.

  • (a) A price increase or removing an item from the Market affects what your Mil can buy, so we announce it at least 30 days ahead and you can buy the item at the old price during that period (for limited-stock items, while stock lasts).
  • (b) Changes to earning amounts and changes that are not to your disadvantage (new items, price cuts) are announced at least 7 days ahead.
  • (c) No change deletes or reduces your Mil balance or takes back rewards you have bought.
  • (d) An open donation campaign's rate does not change until the campaign ends.

9.2. If we end the Mil program, we announce it at least 60 days ahead so you can spend your Mil in the Market.

10. Other

10.1. Questions and appeals: in the app under Settings → Contact us, or [email protected]. Your right as a consumer to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts is reserved.

10.2. These terms are governed by Turkish law. If you live in the European Union, your rights under the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
