Waitlist Privacy Notice

This notice explains which data we process when you fill in the waitlist form on crossova.app, why, and for how long (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, Art. 10).

1. Data controller

Crossova. Contact: [email protected]. The company's legal name and address will be added here once it is incorporated.

2. What we process

  • Your e-mail address and the city you typed.
  • The page language and where you came from (e.g. a campaign link or the username of the person who invited you).
  • When you signed up.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address. We never store the IP address itself; the hash is used only to stop abuse and repeated attempts.
  • If you ticked the separate box: your permission for event and campaign news, and its date.

3. What we use it for

  • To tell you once when Crossova opens in your city.
  • To plan which city opens first (totals only).
  • To protect the form from bots and spam.
  • Only if you also agreed: to send event and campaign news. This is optional; you join the list either way and can withdraw at any time.
  • Your request to join the waitlist and receive the launch notice (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
  • Legitimate interest in keeping the form secure and preventing abuse (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
  • Your explicit consent and commercial e-mail permission for event and campaign news (KVKK Art. 5/1, Law No. 6563).

5. Who we share it with

  • Supabase: database hosting, servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • We will use an e-mail delivery service to send the launch notice; its name and country will be added here once chosen.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

6. How long we keep it

  • We delete your waitlist entry no later than 6 months after sending the launch notice; it is not copied into an app account if you sign up.
  • If you gave permission for news: until you withdraw it.
  • Hashes used for rate limiting are deleted automatically after 2 days.

7. Your rights

You have all rights under KVKK Art. 11, including access, correction, deletion and objection. To leave the list or make a request, write to [email protected] or use the form on the Delete account page. We answer free of charge within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This site uses no cookies and runs no analytics. Only your theme choice (light/dark) is kept in your browser; it is never sent to us.
